Oh No . Did I agree to that!
Some weeks ago I was blackmailed by my son into entering the Florence marathon. Its 15 years since I ran a marathon, and I am now over 50 (a Veteran in running terms)but i have started training. i am going to need all the support I can get to reach a level of fitness to complete the 42Km with some level of decorum... So i will bore you , my readers , with the highlights of my training.
Last Sunday i completed a 10Km run on the treadmill in 52 minutes so thats not too bad a start.
